I'm looking for suggestions for a decent scope for long range shooting that's not going to cost me an arm and a leg.  I don't need the latest, greatest, best  scope out there, just one with a high magnification level and decent clarity.  Any suggestions?  Has anyone tried ATN scopes?

I run a IOR 2.5-10x42 on mine and love it.

By not costing you an arm and a leg I'll keep the suggestions below $500.

-Super Sniper 10x or 16x-$300
-Leupold Mk IV PR Series- $400-$600
-Nikon Buckmaster 4-14x $250

Out of the 3 choices, I'd opt for the Buckmaster as it's the cheapest but it's crystal clear and has solid, repeatable adjustments. The downside is that it has a 1" tube (as well as the Leupy PR series).
The Super Snipers of late have had a lot of good reviews, I'm just not a huge fan of fixed power scopes though.
While I have no first hand experience, I have read too many accounts of ATN scopes going t*ts up for me to my money on one.

Who makes the super sniper?  I've heard a lot about them.
