This was the first time I attempted to really clean my Beowulf rather than the OLE BORE SNAKE routine. So I see a need for the following: bronze and nylon bore brush, bore guide with solvent port, bore mop and patches... can anyone direct me to a place/vendor to buy these? Thanks- Lion_dog |

A 20 gauge bore brush on a shotgun rod works perfectly. Just let the rod rotate freely as you push it through. You can make a bore guide from a thread spool and drill a hole for a solvent port or bore out an .223 AR bore guide. Use a 20 or 28 gauge bore mop if desired and any gauge shotgun- except .410- patches and you'll be set. The OTIS rig from AA is nice, but this way you save money for AMMO! |

pro shot makes bronze brushes in standard rifle thread so you don't need to buy any new rods #50R pro shot |
