Do I need to have my Strike Industries cookie cutter muzzle break sitting flush against the rail? I was told a 9" or a 10" will do and which rail manufacture you guys and ladies recommend? The SBR is a Daniel Defense MK18 10.3

Is the cookie cutter actually touching the rail? If not, I think it looks awesome as is.

No sir, It's not touching the rail few inches off of it. So it looks awesome as it is now? I get mixed opinions about how some like it the way it is and some not so much with getting a rail on it.

Need more pics closer up with different angles.  ie showing the gap between the end of rail and CC.

IMO, set it up how you like it.  I'd probably keep it as is.

A shorter rail would look silly
