OK, here's what I'm talkin about.  On AR rifles the hard plastic butt slips when setting on a hard floor as when leaning in a corner.  I want to stop that.  Yeah, I've used a variety of methods...a Guns an Ammo magazine tossed on the floor, a piiee of carpet, etc.  But I really want something to slip on the butt of the rifle so it sticks a bit to the floor wherever I might need to lean  it.

I got my carbines sorted out by fitting the rubber carbine recoil pad.

I need a slipon thin buttpad.  Preferably REALLY thin. I do not want a thick pad, and frankly do not need the recoil absorption qualities of a normal pad at all.

I can make one, but if there is such a thing, I figure I might as well ask first.

Anybody have a thin recoil pad that fits the AR rifle butt?

Paint on a coat of Plasti-Dip.  It's available in black and a host of other colors if you want to be funny with it.

Keep that weapon on your person at all times. That is the correct answer.
