| So I'm thinking about doing a 10.5" MK18 Mod 0 inspired upper and I'm torn between using a KAC RAS or a free float rail like a MI Gen 2 T-Series. The only thing I'm going to mount is a VFG and possibly a light. Suggestions? |

Fuck inspired. KAC/P&S/Capco M4 RAS or DD Mk 18 RIS II.
Inspired is for the birds my friend. Clone that shizz. For the record you can find M4 RAS' for under 100, and p&s/Capco m4 ras' for closer to 50 bucks used. The ris ii will run you 400 bones. And it sounds like you want a FSB anyways. I got a thing for FSB's myself.

I want to keep the FSB, especially since I'm going to use a LMT rear sight. I think the KAC or P&S RAS will be what l go with. I'll save the FF rail for another build. Hey dude, clone is in the eye of the beholder. It would be hard for somebody to tell you yours isn't a clone, as long as you get it as close as you possibly can. Plus you can always swap them out for Colt parts in the future. Good call on the RAS.
