Hey guys, so I picked up a VLTOR VIS-2 for a decent price at Midway, and it got here today. I love everything about it so far except for one thing - the lower rail assembly has quite a bit of play to it. Everything I've read from other owners says that the bottom rail locks up super tight, so I'm wondering if mine slipped through QC. I'm still waiting on a barrel, but I went ahead and mocked up the VIS with the barrel nut and bracket. The bottom rail still had noticeable wiggle room even with those parts installed. I guess the question is will the bottom rail assembly somehow tighten up once the barrel is put in or am I S.O.L.? Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Potential follow up question: How nice are VLTOR's customer service representatives?

Lower rail should lock up tight.
Owned 2 vis uppers. Hated them both.
Vltor is a great company with great cs, but on a larger scale,  they are Abrams red headed stepchild when it comes to budget.

I have a factory 10.5 with the VIS and it locks up tightly. Love the setup. I'd wait to get the barrel installed before worrying about it any further.
