Alright, for the love of God.

I sent a barrel to ADCO with a VLTOR .750 low profile gas block for pinning. I asked them to leave the pin out when they sent it back to me, because I didn't have my handguard barrel nut yet.

SO, I was screwing around with the pin and, by nothing less than the will of Satan himself, dropped aforementioned pin into a tiny hole in my cook top fan/counter assembly. This hole was JUST the right size for the stupid pin, and it is now gone forever. Bullshit.

SO, could ANYONE tell me what the exact size pin this would be? I tried emailing ADCO twice with no response. They might think I'm simple. Is it a taper pin or a roll pin? I can't remember. I went to the hardware store and got a taper pin and a roll pin and the roll pin seems like it will fit. The taper pin has a pretty defined taper to it, and I'm thinking it will damage the barrel where it goes into the pre-drilled hole/channel.

SO, If the roll pin fits through the gas block's drilled hole/channel (without it being on the barrel) with a little pounding, it should fit properly with the gas block ON the barrel, correct? My worst fear is having to pound it in hard and deforming some metal on the barrel, which I fear could screw up the bore, and accuracy. Which I REALLY DO NOT want.

I may be worrying about nothing, I do that sometimes...but sweet merciful baby Jesus of Nazareth in a manger, I do not want to screw up the (not cheap) barrel.

If anyone has some sizes or experiences for me I would GREATLY appreciate it. This ordeal has made my butt hurt substantially. Thank y'all.

Just try and chill out for a bit. I've dealt with Adco many times. In fact, Steve answered me on a Saturday night around 9:30pm with a response to an issue I was having. One time I accidentally sent them my gb roll pin and they sent me two back taped to a business card separate from my package. Wait for an email response I'm sure they'll hook you up.

I'm chill as a cucumber.

I emailed ADCO again earlier.
If anyone could answer any of my other questions that would be great.

Check your spam. I've found that sometimes their  responses end up in there.

I don't know if this will help but.
I don't know what drill side ADCO uses to drill out the GB and barrel but if its the same as the Black rifle disease (BRD) gas block drilling jig that I have it calls for the #31 drill bit which is
.1200" and I just took my caliper and went to ACE hardware and bought there hardened dowel  pins that measure .1220"  -  .1225"

If you have a caliper you can measure what you have.

Yes I used some calipers and got similar measurements. I then bought a roll pin about that same size. I just want to be sure it won't dick up the barrel.
