| Working on a budget build, and stumbled upon this brand on gunbroker. It's called Firetac, and they offer handguards at $75 and below, and are supposedly made of t6 aluminum. Has anyone ever heard of these guys, used a product of theirs, etc? |

Damage industries, their rail is made in USA and is on super duper sale right now for $48!
Link to site sponsor. ETA I have this rail on a beater gun, and it's very solid. |

I got one of those monolithic bridge hand guards from firetac on gunbroker.
Price and quality are good. BUT, being my 1st build also and also on a budget, I didn't read the part about it being "OVAL". I thought that they would all fit. I am having a heck of a time finding a M4 Oval hand guard end cap. So read the description carefully. |

So read the description carefully. "Oval" or "round" refer to the port holes on the rail body. It has nothing to do with oval end caps, which don't exist and, consequently, is why you're having a heck of a time finding one. End caps are either round or triangular. The drop-in quad rails are two-piece and form an oval when you tighten them together. However, the arcs they form are actually circular and will match the round end cap when installed properly. |
