Strike industries had some nice easy to use pins that are super easy to install.

I'm running the BAD takedown pins in a couple of my rifles and I really like them.  Super easy install and it makes breaking down the rifle much easier in a tight fitting upper/lower.

On my next build (light weight) I think I'm gonna try a set from V7.

I LOVE the Battle Arms pivot pin.  I HATE the Battle Arms takedown pin.

The extended takedown pin is right where my thumb rides when I have the gun on 'safe' and am doing everything but pulling the trigger.  The pin gets pushed out until the left side is flush with the receiver and the head is sticking out the other side.

I noticed it a couple of times and shrugged it off and pushed it back in.  The last time I was made aware of that little fucker was when I was taking my rifle off and the head caught my middle finger nail almost ripping it off.

You can order just the pivot pin from BAD, it's worth it.  The rear pin.  NO.

For me it's either the pins in my CMMG Gun Builders kit or it's a premium set like the V7's.

I noticed you have 17 posts so I assume this is a first build. Honestly, spending money on takedown pins instead of say the barrel, trigger, rail or optic is incredibly foolish. The takedown pins have no effect on your rifle's performance and if they are a little tight or rough, they break in with use. Dont waste the money till the previously mentioned pieces are purchased. Hell,  one is better spent on your weaponlight than a takedown pin.
