I wanted to post this because I ordered a few of the Bushmaster lowers that Brownells had on sale for $49.99 back in Oct/Nov, and I also ordered a Brownells complete lower parts kit that included all of the lower parts, ALG Trigger, Brownells mil-spec buffer tube assembly, and Magpul MOE grip and stock.
When I assembled the parts, and took to the range to test fire, the bolt catch does not work properly, and I know Brownells "backs everything" they sell, but I am wondering if anyone else has had any issues with the Bushmaster lowers and/or the Brownells complete parts kit? The thing that makes me question both of these items is that neither of them are offered on their site any longer. I know I can send both back, but I still have a couple of other lowers to build and I don't want to go through the hassle of replacements being sent to a FFL. I think I am just going to send back all of the parts for the bolt catch, but just want to see if the lowers or parts have caused any issues for other people. Thanks! |
