I have a Bravo Company KMR 13 handguard.

I have three key mod sections to install and see that the stainless studs that grip the handguard have a slot in them facing forward.

Do you guys rotate the rear stud so it is sideways and grips the upper or lower portion of the key mod slot?

If so, how do you align them?  It is not easy to do.  Any tricks to this?

The screw should interface with the forward narrower portion of the keymod slot.  There should be a stud on the rail itself that interfaces with the large portion of the slot.  Put the rail on with the screws in the large portion of the slot, slide forward until it stops, tighten screws, you're done.

The portion of the keymod nut that is at the bottom right of the picture below points towards the muzzle when inserting into the rail.
