You can never have too many spare parts! Lol Quoted:

I like CMMG lower parts kit's. I would buy a complete, then just keep the trigger/hammer it comes with as a spare. Spare parts are good trust me. So true. They never work out to be spares tho, you know how it goes. "Oh, a spare detent, time to build another rifle so it doesn't go to waste!" |

I've had good luck with their triggers and found them to be pretty good for a standard GI model. The fit and finish on the rest of the parts seem pretty good as well. On top of that they seperate all the component groups into color coded bags which on. my first few assemblies made the job a little easier. I'm actually a fan of CMMG rifles as well...they are an underrated company IMO. |
| Just about any of the LPKs out there are good to go, but I would not buy the PTAC brand. Some guys have had issues with some of the parts. CMMG makes LPKs for many manufacturers/retailers. I would suggest to shop for some on sale. PSA runs some good sales every now and then. Primary Arms does as well. I have recently bought LPKs for as little as $39.95 on sale back during the holidays from Primary Arms and PSA. |

I have used LPK from a Del-ton kit, a PSA standard LPK and a LPK from....Red Barn? that you could customize.
All three were just fine and comparable. I'm in agreement with others who've said go ahead and get the FCG even though you have the Giessele....nothing wrong with spare parts and the price difference is negligible. |
