No I don't work for Tac Con....and I don't know why the thread I started yesterday was locked.
I asked the same question on the AK side of the forum as I did here because I bought TWO triggers...one for an AK and one for an AR. I figured I would ask the AK people about the AK trigger and the AR people about the AR trigger. Not a "dupe".. However the consensus is that the trigger sucks it would appear from the couple posts that I got before the thread was locked. I just wanted to address the accusation that I was an employee, owner, dealer, manufacturer, whatever of Tac Con.. I am exactly who I described myself as being. |

I figured with your join date and post count as much. Thanks for being honest about it though. Not that I ever accused you of such I just don't want to see you waste money on something that isn't worth it in my opinion.
It's just an opinion and I hope the triggers give you what you are looking for. People have a lot of (justified) butt hurt over how Tac Con acted before releasing their trigger. They have zero credibility in most people's eyes, don't take the hate personally. |

Your on the Internet, buying a trigger that available almost exclusively on the Internet, posting on a large ar15 dedicated forum.
We assume that all parties would have done research on a $300+ trigger, two in your case. You ask a question that, had you even slightly looked into it, everyone know the answer to. It's an ok trigger with a usless third setting that does little else then give a shorter reset. It's been shown a Geissele S3G has better split times. Given this. Were gonna assume your a troll. |

Just out of curiosity..... you bought two triggers THEN asked if they were okay? Serious question, not busting your balls. Yeah...That's exactly what I did. Yes, I usually do it the other way around Not busting my balls???! I wouldn't know how to act if I posted here and didn't have six people immediately levy criticism of some nature.. |

How many of these threads is the OP gonna start? Double the current market value and multiply by TSF (threads so far) carry the 1......at least 6. Sounds like math. You can <CoC> with your damn math! |

I was just tryin to sound smart bro, you know I can't do math. The only reason I passed algebra in 8th grade is cause I copied all my buddy's tests and hw all year. Then I failed it all throughout high school. True story lmao |

The TacCon trigger threads always go the same way...
If you want it and like it, go for it. Many poke at it because TacCon hyped it up beyond belief and then when people quickly figured out it was just a simple dual mode (with one being a short reset) trigger people almost puked (since it was released for $400+. It was like an insulting slap in the face (not to mention even the "short reset" mode was getting killed by some other FAR less $ triggers). Dealers I've spoke to can't even sell them at LESS than MSRP. It was a total dud except for the uninformed who see the "extra" setting and think it's something more than it is. That being said, if you want that extra "cool factor" (is that Nuttin's "2nd kind of cool"? haha) go for it. Just be ready for some ribbing and people assuming you paid $350+ THINKING you'd get more "fun" in that extra setting. |
