Hey everyone!

I bought my first AR a few days ago, its a Mossberg MMR Tactical, and I love it. Put about 200 rounds through it yesterday and couldn't be happier with the rifle and how low of an moa it can shoot compared to any of the m16's ive been issued. It has a (If I remember correctly what it's called) free float barrel, and Im not entirely sure what that means in a sense of how to modify the rail system. I want a longer rail guard (Hand Guard, not sure entirely what to call it to convey what Im talking about) , aiming for a 14" one if that is possible, (It's a 16" barrel), however I dont want to go out and buy the first one I see that I like and then have it not fit.

This is the rifle I have, and I love the rails it has on it already I just it to be longer,

A rail length like this one,

So with all that said, how would I go about looking for something that would fit? Are there certain specs I need to look for, or do almost all AR modifications fit on all AR models regardless of make?

Nearly every AR part will fit with whatever AR you have. You just have to figure out how to install it if you have the right tools or, barring that, pay someone to do it for you.
