Can I install the barrel onto my upper which is installed to the lower if I have a pmag magazine held in a vise and the lower attached to the magazine?  I don't have a vice block yet...  Is there another way to install the barrel using a torque wrench without a vice block?

If the PMAG was filled solid with something, then maybe. But with the PMAG being hollow, it will probably break.

Ideally, you would use an upper vise block instead rather than using a lower vise block and the upper attached to the lower

Use the proper tools to complete the task. No sense rushing and breaking something. Take the time, and do it correctly.

I would not use the technique you described.

IF, IF you're gonna do it without a vise keep the bolt assy in the upper receiver. I'd not do it while attached to the lower.

Maybe rubber strap wrenches going on one direction and the torque wrench going in the opisite direction?

Use the proper tools is a must but I had these days long long ago.
