I'm looking for a stripped upper for a friend's precision build. It will be going on a aero forged lower, and I have the tooling to true the receiver face.

I'm looking at forged uppers since they are cheaper and it will be going on a forged lower anyways. I've seen RRA uppers that have a very tight fit to aero lowers, but I don't really have any other criteria to judge uppers.

Why not go with an aero upper? The fit and finish will be perfect. For a precision build you should consider their monolithic upper.

Aero is good.  If you want to spend a little more, MEGA is better,

You can get a Daniel defence or bcm assembled for $120

The DD on my last build went on a stag lower and it is a good snug fit, no rattle

That is pimping. If only they had a rifle length rail. Nevertheless, I will try to convince him he needs it.

I bought an Aero blem direct from Aero for $62 shipped.  I can't find the blem and it's a nice looking upper.  Fit's my Anderson lower great!

Aero precision upper. I'm using them pretty much exclusively for lowers and uppers now.

So he already ordered a rail (slr) meaning it would be pointless to get a monolithic upper now. I was also incorrect in thinkinghe had an aero lower. It is actually a PSA. I've used colt, FN, and PSA uppers on my PSA lower, and none of them fit well. Any suggestions on what might?

I live me some Mega Arms receivers, but how is Mega any better or worse than any other receiver?
