For those of you that have one- what did you do with it? I'd like to put my business logo on the side and give it a unique look. I like the way billet lowers look, but I don't like the price of them. Does it depend on the skill of the man with the machining tool or the size of the lower?

You might have seen my screw-up-recovery thread "Good save?" with my lower that was creatively milled to hide an error. Then there's my buddy who sent off a couple and had lots of engraving done, like the silhouette of a revolutionary patriot.

Personally I want to do a matching upper/lower completely wrapped in Norse style art. Something specifically crafted for that canvas.

For Customizing and Engraving of your lower..
It will depend on the  ability of the equipment used.
Also expertise of the operator!
This what can be done with a small Benchtop CNC mill....

Btw...I only use Quentin Laser 80%

Good luck,

Good looking lower. Did you cerakote/duracoat it? It has more of a satin look to it than anodizing

Actually it is just a simple black anodize job...
One of my clients brother has a anodizing /plating shop.
But with the turn of the economy, he phased out his hard-coat anodizing.
But I have a standing offer if he starts it up again.. I get a free anodize job.

But on the Cerakote subject.
I am currently checking the possibilities of doing it out of my home workshop.
I think I might give a try this spring.
