I have a Diamondback AR15 and I cannot figure out how to remove the handguard. Could someone give me some insight? Thanks

It looks like it installs like a Yankee Hill rail. The black ring will unscrew back towards the receiver and the rail unscrews off the barrel nut. I do not see any retention screws that go through the handguard and engage the barrel nut like the YH.

I'm not sure if this will work but if you back the jam nut off will the whole rail spin off? If it does that would seem like a less than desirable mounting system.
