Why has no one come out with a hammer/trigger retention plate (such as AK's have available) yet? KNS "anti rotation/anti walk" pins already exist.... but they are on the OUTSIDE. If anyone here knows how AK retention plate's work, I'm thinking the same could be done for AR's. Just a notch cut in the pins (trigger and hammer) and held in by a "selector lever hole" and presto! INTERNAL retention plate. I know many don't feel the need for a retention device, but there are those of us that like the assurance who would rather not have the appearance of KNS type exterior bars. Why has this not been created yet?

Kns pins prevent rotation that wears out the reviewer after countless thousands of rounds, not to mainly prevent walking.

Are you having walking issue?

Mainly because there isn't a need for such a device. AR type rifles use a different system for pin retention then AK types. The simple and effective AR system has been perfectly reliable during the 50+ years of use in our military and many others.

If you are having pin retention issues your lower receiver is assembled wrong. That's the long and short of it.

Because it's a non-problem:  the pins in properly assembled FCGs don't walk; they are retained by the J- and hammer springs.
