Its hard to mount things on it. the rails are to close each other. Just asking if anyone has ever seen one of these and if yhm ever made one. I did a internet search and a search on here with no luck. thanks
I'll try again to put the link to the ee post but it doesnt tell anything except that it is a rifle length quad rail. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_159/1235361_WTS_2x_YHM_free_float_handguards.html |
| Wow! And the slots appear to be cast rather than machined. Tolerances are likely to be all over the place. I hope you did not pay very much for that thing. If it was falsely advertised as to the manufacturer and it differs from any description you were given, I think you ought to make the seller refund your money and pay shipping charges for the return. |
| Ok I emailed yhm and they said they never made a rail like this. I emailed dpms and they said they had some made by a outside source years ago but didn't say who the manufactor was. So I guess it's consider a dpms. Still not sure if I'm happy with it. The seller has apologized for his mistake and offered to refund my money. Problem is I like it. It puts my flashlight right where I can use the rear pressure cap with my thumb so think I'll keep it and see how it works out. |
