Just stumbled upon these anyone using them? Thoughts? I don't plan on using them but the design is different

There are all these companies coming out with lowers that are more and more extreme in order to make a sell.  In reality if they would just come out with a simple lower that was ambidextrous they would sell more than they could produce.  Good lord that thing is huge, something robocop would use

Looks like Rowe doesn't want you using Geissele triggers in their lowers.

Aero Precision has exactly what you are talking about. Right side bolt catch/release on a plain jane forged lower. Add a Norgon, and an ambi selector and go to work.

That's crazy, before I even read your comment, the shape around the mag catch reminded me of the OCP logo...

I was looking at a matched set in the case at Guns Inc in Trappe PA which is right down the road from the Rowe factory,  these are billet 7075-T6 aluminum and weigh practically nothing.

It appears to be very robust and well designed.  For those of you harking about an ambi lower, it's a solution to a non existant problem.  All I want in a lower is for it not be a fucking walking billboard NO LOGO's ...........

I picked up a matching set of these at the philly gun show today, in steel grey. They're pretty cool if you ask me, granted it will be my first build I have experience with other ARs, AKs, pistols etc.

But this brings my to my next question, Why did you say that it looks like they don't want geissele triggers used in them? That was the route I planned on taking… Any advice would be appreciated, like I said this will be my first build!

Looks like it's set up for kns anti rotation pins, which I don't think are compatible with geissele triggers...
Check these out OP

To me it just looks beefed up around the trigger pin area leaving the pin holes the same thickness as a standard receiver as well as being able to accept KNS pins. Definitely beefy. The AR panic of 2013 left a lot of mfg's without forgings to produce guns with, Lots of billet receivers hitting the market.

Ahh alright I see what you mean. Hopefully that's not the case. The trigger the complete rifle rowe tactical is selling is ALG defense which is a division of Geissele apparently. I hope that it's compatible. Any way for me to actually be able to tell?

Check out that thread. That's the trigger that comes in the complete rifle with my rowe tactical receivers.

With further reading it has that trigger but also has KNS anti rotational pins. I hear that the KNS pins will work in some geissele triggers and not others. So damn confusing!
