While Ive bought many KAC items from various vendors with no complaints, Ayan at boltcarrier.com is my first stop. Check with him first and see what he can do for you. His CS is truly second to none. Though I haven't pulled the trigger buying an SR15 yet, Ayan has been very helpful answering questions immediately via emails; even on nights and weekends. |

Well I'm pretty sure Ayan has at least two friends.

| Sorry for reviving this post. I just wanted to point out that 14.5" URX4 rails should be landing at dealers soon. I was just invoiced late Friday for a bunch of them. I'm sure OperationParts, Gun Gallery, Weapon Outfitters, et al will be getting some soon too. |

Off topic, but is your name actually on that barrel or is that a photo watermark? |

It's his mark, I remember when I first started seeing his pics I thought he had customized all his guns with his name, but then figured out what was really going on, in some pics it's obvious in others he kind of hides it, either way Stick's photos are primo. |

im not crazy about it either. I liked it until i saw the install video. also, you can only use it with set screw gas blocks Quoted:

Just me... I really like the URX-2 Haha all these people with this fear of set screws. Where's your data? Are there videos and examples of setscrew gasblocks failing that I'm missing?? I've been running one on my SBR for for 4 years, suppressed, un-supressed, wet, cold, hot with nothing but a dimple in the barrel without a hiccup! And I'm pretty sure that I read you can put a pinned block on with the URX4 but it takes some help. I got mine ordered I plan on doing some investigating and documenting to see how difficult it would be to go pinned, I don't have a pinned block but I'm contemplating picking one up to prove it can be done, problem is I don't feel the need to pin it. |

If you already have a pinned gasblock, it's a problem. KAC has already said you can install a pinned gasblock with the rail if you're willing to cut the URX4, just want 1 pin, or wedge the punch in there. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_381/237980_URX_4.html&page=10#i2198504 Personally a set screw gasblock doesn't bother me. Given the option I'll go with pinned, however. If I had an unpinned barrel and wanted the URX 4, I'd drill a single hole in a gasblock and go with the single pin option. |

Yep if someone thinks they need more than a pin and two setscrews they are insane! One pin can be done without any modifications. Eta: yes if you have a barrel with a double pin you can still do one or drill a hole in the rail, I'd be good with one at that expense lol |

| I've got a clamp on DA7 block ready for use. I don't think I'll have any problems at all. There are holes all over the rail and plenty of places to insert an allen wrench. If not a direct line up a ball-ended allen wrench would do fine. This I have no doubts about. |
