Hey there. I'm building an AR right now for multi-purpose use I've never run a PSA lower before and want to know if they are durable and if they fit well with a mil spec upper(slop?) . I have an opportunity to get one for a good price and I'd like to if they are GTG. I'm going for DD or BCM quality, if you think it is sub par, please note why.

Thanks in advance!!

Also, I want to know the quality of the trigger. I will replace it eventually, but I'd like to know if it's a run of the mil trigger or could it be compared to a higher quality stock rifle?

PSA lower is good to go.

Can't comment on the trigger.  I've used one that is AWESOME with a light, smooth pull.  I've used another most recently that is gritty as all heck and longer, but it is still acceptable to me.

Their lowers are fine. The machining is clean, in spec, and the anodizing is top notch.

I used PSA lowers in a couple of builds, very nice

Alright, thanks guys.

Has anyone had experience with their HIPERTOUCH trigger? Sounds like a good replacement for a Gisseille

As I said in another thread. I bought 2 of them. 1 was great, the other one is a POS, in my opinion and won't fit decent with any upper I own. So for me, it's been a 50% average. The one is now stripped and in the safe.
Other people have great luck with them. The 1 fits just fine.
But I'm going to go with other lowers, I have never had a problem with. No I won't sell the one I don't like.
I am a picky SOB
Edit to say Buy the BCM ! Also I highly doubt there are very many triggers that out preform a Geissele

All of my builds have had PSA lowers and I can also attest to their high quality, even their blemished lowers.

Never had fitment or finish issues.

I built one from a blemished lower + blemished BCM stripped upper. Both fit well, there is very little slop compared to my colt 6920 (not that it matters really). The trigger is just your standard mil-spec trigger, nothing special. It had a lot less grit than my colt. I ended up replacing it with an SSA-E though. I'm considering putting the PSA trigger in the colt but I don't want to change the colt unless I have to

G2G on the lowers, as far as the trigger from what I have read on here and reviews it's hit or miss. Personally I'd stick with geisselle or timney.

Any lpk with a mil spec trigger is hit or miss.

I've got maybe half a dozen of them, none have had any problems (other than one had slightly oversize hammer/trigger pin holes, oversize pins from an RRA 2-stage fixed that).

I built 3 of the PSA lowers with no issues. Used their LPKs on 2 of them, both had good triggers. I guess I got lucky.

Building my first ar on a psa lower. Although I have not shot this rifle yet I can tell you that I've had no problem with it so far. Got a blemished one to boot. And a blem upper they fit together like a dream. No movement at all.
