I'm looking to buy a new forend for my middie, but am torn. I'm leaning towards the Midwest systems though.  I like the systems where the top rail meets up with my flat top rail on my upper. So a rail that creates a continuous rail on top is important to me. I'm also going to replace my gas block/fsp with a low profile block, get a forend long enough to go over the block, and put a flip-up front sight on the rail. Lightweight is also a good quality. I tend to gravitate towards the longer forends also (13"+). But to cover the block entirely, I think that it needs to be at least 11" long.

Anyways... Give me some feedback. Let me see pics of your rigs, especially if you have a Midwest system covering your gas block.

Thanks!

Also... Anyone know if both the G2 T-Series and the regular T-Series will go over a low-profile gas block?
