Looking into plugging in one of THESE into my M4gery.
I have a Magpul ASAP on there currently and was curious if and how it would work with the new stock. Anyone have a pic of both? |

It won't work with the magpul ASAP because the ace has its own back plate already held on by machine screws....I don't think the threads on the ace tube are long enough to switch out the backplate for a magpul asap and use a castle nut... |

You cant use the ASAP or a castle nut on the ACE stock it utilizes a rifle receiver extension (in rifle length or entry length), not a carbine receiver extenstion. |

Those are the answers I was looking for. Thank you. Are you guys speaking form experience with the stock? How is the QD for the sling if I used it with a MS3 single point or a double? Yes, I had one on one of my earlier builds. The sling mount is not a QD. It is actually screwed in to the gusset. I have no experience with the MS3 so I can't comment on that |

I have an MS3 with the snap hooks, it fits the ace swivel on my ace ultra light. I can use it as a single point, or 2 point with the front sling swivel. ETA: No, it's not QD, its a screw with a sling mount attached that screws into the end plate. Would you mind taking pics of this set up and post them? |

Quoted: Ordered it today, I'll get my pics up of the stock then of it with a MS3 QD. I'm going to to give it a shot. Magpul states it "should" fit. Someone made a mistake. If you have the MS3 QD you will need a QD cup for it to attach to. You might be able to buy the ACS QD cup that is sold separate from the ACS and then use a machine screw of the correct thread to attach it to the Ace stock. ETA: Here is the ACS QD cup |

ETA: Here is the ACS QD cup So it does not fit. I'm not going to spend the 15 for a little cup. I'll just get a standard MS3 with hook and attach it to the loop. |

But it would work nice and look cool.
