I want to change out my FSB on my M4 to a more modern one with a rail. Most of what I find uses screws instead of pins. Will they shoot loose?

Probably not, but there's always the possibility. I use red loctite (the high temp kind) on mine just because I don't want to have to look for a tiny screw in the grass should it fall out.

okay wait what...
change your FSB out for a more modern one? what exactly are you looking at.....?
low pro gas block and extended rail? what kind of low pro gas block? clamp on or set screw?

I wanted to change it out for one that has a pic rail, I always thought gas blocks were pinned in place.... Not screwed
