I bought a magpul ubr a few months ago and for some reason when collapsed it's hard to release the lever on the bottom for it to unlock and adjust the stock. My friend has one and it's a breeze to release the lever. I know it's not a fake one because i bought it from a reputable store and does not have any of the tell signs of the fake one. Any info on this is surely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i haven't tried puting lube or oil. i'll try it, but it seems like something is hindering it to release. it doesn't feel gritty when the lever release but just take a lot of effort or force to release it. thanks. i haven't tried looking at mechanism as it's enclosed and i don't want to open it either.

Some of my personal ones are tighter than others.
