I just purchased a COLT 6920 Magpul edition and am pretty exited. The gun shoots well and i am happy with it from a CQC standpoint.

I am interested in buying a second upper (longer barrel im guessing 20-24inch that i will put a scope on to kill paper targets. I want to get a completed upper that requires no work from me!

My gun currently is giving me about 2MOA when i shoot good. Maybe a little better. My AR 10 was within 1MOA.

Any recommendations on which upper i should get? I dont know how much Uppers go for but i would like to keep it under 600. I could spend more if there was a signficant increase in quality.

Also does a complete upper come qith BCG and charging handle? or do i use the same one? I thought that all AR15's were compatible but reading online I heard mixed reviews about Colt compatibility.

Thanks!

$600 is going to be tough for a target gun with great accuracy.   You will need a seperate bolt and bolt carrier for the new gun.  It is't a good idea to swap them between guns.

If you can find a good deal on a LaRue Steath Upper, that is guaranteed to shot 1/2" groups at 100 yards using Federal Gold Medal Match or Black HIlls Match in 69 and 77 grain.

Check out white oak armament. They are around there.they don't have the military pizazz but they are pretty accurate, not overpriced, and good people to deal with
