Any reviews on spikes BCG ?
Nickel boron ? Looking for quality / accuracy ....don't care about what's etched on anybody's parts |

I have a couple of the Spikes BCG's. I have not had any issues with mine. They were an excellent deal for the money at 109 shipped from AIM. I had to pay 119 shipped for the last one I bought from the, which is still a decent price. I don't have the Nickel Boron models. IIRC they NIB the gas rings as well, which is a nice touch. If you purchase one I believe you will be happy with it. As far as accuracy goes your barrel will have more to do with it. FWIW I have the following company's BCG's: Palmetto State Armory, Daniel Defense, YHM, Spikes (3 of these), AR15 Performance (one standard and one NIB - both are in 6.8), Larue, LMT, Colt, FN, and Armalite. All of them work without fail. (so far)

Accuracy isn't really a BCG attribute. Spikes makes an above average BCG but their are better in the same price range. Have you looked at Bravo Company? They have a rifle right now called the filthy 14 that has had over 40,000 rounds though it with out a cleaning and it's still running using a bravo company BCG. |

I haven't seen a better BCG at the $109 delivered price range. At $119 the LMT is occasionally available for a similar price. BCM makes an excellent mil spec BCG, but I don't see it as any better or worse than the spikes/LMT/Larue/Colt/FN. The only reason I don't have a BCM is they tend to be more expensive than Spikes/LMT/Larue. On the other hand it can be a several month wait to find a Spikes or LMT carrier for around $120. The BCM's are good BCG's and not outrageously priced.
