I am in the market for a new 1:7 16 inch barrel and wanted to get some feedback if possible. I was originally going to go with a Daniel Defense 1:7 cold hammer forged, chrome lined, mpi tested barrel. It has a low profile pinned gas block. It is going for over 300. It is a little steep but exactly what i was looking for. The other option is top go with DSArms 1:7 chrome lined barrel with standard tower sight (pinned) that I would just chop down to fit under my rail. Any body have experience with these barrels that could offer some insight? Want something reliable and made correctly.

Thanks

You can buy a PSA barrel with a front sight base on it, and shave it down like you wanted to do the DSA.  I have no experience with either, but PSA barrels are made by FN.  That should be a very good barrel.
