Hey guys, I purchased a M5 RAS off the EE. It was identified as "used" but that was it.
Well I got it in today and it is missing the piece that holds the top part onto the barrel nut. I'm trying to contact the seller to see why it didn't ship with the rail since the item wasn't listed as missing parts. But in case that doesn't work, I need to know what I can do. I was looking on the KAC sight and came across this: M4 RAS Hardware kit http://www.knightarmco.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=111 This has the same call out as the m4 rail but I was curious if this will work for the ar15 20" full length rail also? They didn't have one saying M5 RAS just the M4 RAS. Any ideas or help you guys could send my way would be awesome! Thanks Mitchell |

yeah it really sucks, I was thinking yesterday it would be my luck it would end up like that.
He told me he would ship Monday, but he got hurt at work or something then shipped it Thursday and sent the 3 11bar rails and vertical grip as extra for not being sent out when he said so. So I feel kind of bad about it, but I've sent him a message and will see what he can do about it. I hope the parts were just off the rail for some reason and he forgot and ships them all out. I don't know though :( |
| I don't doubt it would fit on there fine but it wouldn't be tight and would rotate a little bit. Just feel bad for what I paid and now getting the pieces I need... I could have purchased the scratch and dent special on it. And this one is a little more than scratched and dented... looks like it was in active service for a couple years. |

yeah ordered the little hardware kit, has like 4 tiny piece in it... 28 bucks for the part, 13 bucks for shipping !!!! WTF on the shipping for parts that weigh less the 6 oz!!! lol
Now DPMS sent me the stuff I need and I didn't get my A2 flash hider.. its on Back Order.... seriously an A2 flash hider on backorder??? Any of you guys feeling generous with one sitting around maybe can throw it in a little small shipping sleeve for a couple bucks??? I got almost everything to do my Rifle but the flash hider now :( |
