just now getting into learning how to modify my rifles myself, and i still have a lot to learn.  One question i have is i am a lefty shooter and cant really find many lefty bolts out there, but what would keep me from flipping aroud my bolt in the carrier so that the extractor is on the left side instead the right.  other than needing the port on the left side of the receiver of course.  the hole for the pin to hold the bolt in the carrier has crimps on the bottom side that keeps the pin from entering from that side but what if i use a drill press to drill those off.  Is there something that i am not seeing that would really prevent this from working?

The extractor would be at the wrong angle if you just rotated the bolt 180.

A left handed bolt carrier group and upper from stag arms should do the trick, though as a lefty I don't believe there's any reason to have a lefty upper unless you're running a suppressor.
