They vary.
I believe the mil spec ships with a thinner pad.
Seems like Magpul identifies this in the descriptions.

I'll check mine and post back.

Edit:
Mil spec = .30"
Comm__= .55

Optional = .70"

OK, still not clear on "height"...stared at too many drawings I guess, I see it as a L x W x THK  part

How about this...
The length of mine is 5 - 3/16"


The last one I have is width....
