Hoping to order my rail here sometime soon to go on an 8" Noveske 300 SBR barrel.  I would like to get a 9" BAR rail but was wondering if that inch of overlap was going to cause any issues, especially if my hand is anywhere near it while shooting?  Plan is a YHM and their matching can but the can would be down the road a ways so I would be shooting unsuppressed for a few months or longer.  Will this hurt anything or me?

if you have some kind of muzzle device the barrel should extend past the rail, depending on the device. if the barrel is still behind the rail you should be fine  i dont see how it could cause any problems. but i would not want to take the risk of shooting my hand off, your choice.

I don’t know the answer to your question but it sounds like its going to be one awesome looking setup when you get the can on there.

I kind of figured the flash hider would push it out enough but I was a little worried about any of the muzzle blast coming out of the sides of the flash hider or brake..  I guess it would be a huge deal though..

And I always forget about this forum
