Greetings, All...after many years of saving my pennies I was finally able to pick up another AR-15 to replace the ones I was forced to sell over the past decades.....this time a M4 type carbine. Eventually I would like to put on a vertical foregrip, but to be on the REALLY frugal side...is there someway to easily put a picatinny rail on the bottom of the stock handguard with bolt-on methods just to mount the vertical grip??  The aluminum handguards seem to be horribly pricey.  I see there was a type of this method on Ebay....but would rather buy from a store....

Appreciate the help and ideas........

The magpul moe handguard will accept rails. The handguard is like $30.
