Is the Daniel Defense CHF 14.5 LW Mid Barrel a good and accurate barrel?
Should i get another BCM or Daniel Defense Lightweight barrel? Does Surefire make a MB556k without the ability to attach a suppressor? Just putting some ideas for a new build together and would like some advice. Thank you |

If you think CHF is better, then go DD. While CHF is recognized as the superior manufacturing process some question whether it's worth the cost..sort of like NiB coatings...if you think it's worth it, then it is worth it.
I used a DD 14.5" LW in a (carbine) build because I do think CHF is worth the aded expense but (yea, I know) haven't had a chance to shoot it. FWIW, only BCM knows who makes BCM barrels, but mine have all been great, so who cares. They also have some CHF barrels from time to time (~$100>than standard barrels). I don't know about SF, but AAC does; their non-mount Blackout are supposed to be excellent and basically equivalent to a SE Vortex. |
