I just picked up a PSA 20" upper and was pretty stumped as far as rail options.
I'm still unsure whether I should go with a longer rail and low profile gas block or keep the FSB and get a 12".
Just wanted to know what everyone's opinions were and to see some examples of setups.
I've tried searching but 20" builds don''t seem to be as common as 18" and below.
Thanks for any help.

i have a KAC M5 RAS, theyre about $100 from the EE here

also if your PSA came with a round handguard cap with the 2 notches cut on the bottom like mine did, they M5 will fit even though its desiged for a triangle cap

I was more thinking along of the lines of free floats so I wouldn't have to worry about POI shift.
The ones I've had on issue M16s didn't really inspire any confidence from me either.
For that price I may be tempted as a temporary solution though.

What do you plan on using this rifle for?

If you plan on benching it and using it mostly longer range only, I'd say get a Troy TRX extreme 15" rail and mount a Bi-pod to it and a fold down front sight.  Pick yourself a good piece of glass and go to town.  You can't go wrong with LaRue either

If this is more of a general use rifle I'd say stick with the FSB and get a 12" rail from any number of makers.

Samson Evolution rails use your existing barrel nut.  All you have to do is remove your handguards, flash suppressor, FSB and handguard cap, and slide it on.

Probably just general use. 300 yards is my limit for most days and I think the longest range within a few hours is about 5-600.
I've had no problems at 300 with my 14.5 carbine that has a TA31F acog but kind of want something that'll help out with seeing the target at 500.

I definitely want a bipod and vfg on the handguards. As far as glass I'm still undecided but considering another acog or a 3-9 accupoint.
I know theres no problem with a fsb in front of an acog but was unsure as far as the accupoint and other more traditional scopes.

The Samson seems like a good idea but I'm not liking the strange vent cuts. It seems to be pretty similar to the Troy TRX though.

You can also look into the Rainier Arms version.  They have triangular cut outs.  Actually makes it a little lighter.

The Troy uses a special barrel nut.  If you have the tools, or can borrow them, it is another great option.

The Rainier rail is pretty interesting. Pretty good price for it too.

Anyone have any longer rails they can comment on?
All I"ve seen are the DD Lite 14, Larue 13.2, Troy MRF 13.8 and TRX 15.

I'm really liking my Troy Alpha rail. Same as the TRX Extreme but uses the standard barrel nut, has a stronger mounting method than the TRX, and has the option for a built-in flip up front sight. Troy offers them in odd lengths though (7", 9", 11", 13", and I think a 15") so you wouldn't be able to use an FSB with the rifle length gas system.

This one!

If Samson or Rainier is just a question of taste.
They are the same, only the cut outs are different.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Anyone have any experience with the Larue 13.2 or DD Lite 14?
