With the quick change barrels on the MRP, can you change the barrel/Bolt Carrier on a 556 model and change it to a 6.8 or 6.5? or is the upper receiver different as well?

Can you take a DI LMT MRP and change the barrel and Bolt Carrier and turn it into a piston gun?

I looked at their web site but it really only talked about changing barrel lengths.

Yes.  The MRP is one chassis.  You can switch barrel lengths, DI/piston, and caliber (depending on type).

Check out the MRP Badness threads.

And if you get 300 BLK you only have to change the barrel!

DBMG will make any AR15 barrel you provide work in a MRP chassis. $150 iirc.

You want a BCG and barrel for every caliber so that you don't confuse them unless one is a NiB, another is parkerized, etc.
