[ARCHIVED THREAD] - yhm free float question

I bought this forearm free float off another forum, don't have it yet.
He says its a yhm brand but can't find any info on it, is this an older
Version of the light weight free float on the yhm website?? Need to know
If I can install a forearm end cap on it. Thanks

Look like one of their older models to me. If it has threads inside the front of the tube, you are GTG for a front cap, but just make sure you get the right size cap for the inner diameter of the rail.

It looks like an older YHM design before they went to those massive anti rotational screws on the side.

When you get it, look for threads on the front like the previous poster said.

Doesn't appear to be threaded from what I can see of the front.

You would be better off just buying another rail then trying to thread that one for the endcap.

They come up often on the EE,and you could sell that one and put the money towards another one already threaded.
