Can anyone just verify that in order to remove the Telestock Latch from the Buttstock itself you just need to push out the Roll pin that you can see inside the Lockpin nut? Does it matter which side you push it out at all, meaning is the pin tapered at all?

Here's a pic of the assembly:

Don't remove the lockpin nut. All you have to do is pull up on the latch itself until the stock slides free.

No, I don't want to take the buttstock off of the buffer tube (it's a given to do that), I wan to remove the Telestock Latch from the Buttstock, I have to remove the pin to do that...I think.

Thanks for trying though

Lol, my bad, next time I'll read the question.  I sold my M4 stock a long time ago so I can't check, but I think you've got the right idea. I doubt it's tapered though.

Remove pin,unscrew nut,remove lever.

The pin is the same as the gas-tube pin,in case you want to replace it upon re-assembly

AHH, I see that they have the same PN.  So basically beat it out huh?  Easy enough I suppose.
