This logo is engraved on the side of an upper assembly I'm looking at and I've seen it but can't place it. Anyone know whose it is? Thanks.

I have this same upper I bought it from Denny at Global Tactical some time last year.   I don't think it's Double Star but I don't know the maker.  So far it's been GTG.
I would also like to know the maker of this upper.

I havent' had the chance to shoot this gun yet, but its married to a DPMS lower and the fit is great. Good solid upper with a SS BBL and very solid. Just like a name to put with who made it.

GTS is the only place I have seen these.  It says CMT in the URL.  http://global-tactical.com/cmtm4cutuppercomplete.aspx

Don't recognize the logo though.  I would have guessed an early version of Double Star as well.

On the right hand side of this upper is founbd a second stamp, an "H" with the top points of the letter squeezed together. IS this found on any others? I say this because I found one at Global made by Tactical Innovations, Inc., that bears a number of identical similarities to mine. But, no look at the left side to see if this logo is found there.

It's the Splintered A forge mark of Anchor Harvey Aluminum.  Lots of companies use their forgings.

Thanks, nbons. I just googled that name and there is some good info out there not only about them, but forge markings in general. Still don't know who made this particular upper, but the learning part is getting more interesting.
