The price certainly seems right. Any info on these?

There's a reason for the low cost on these. They are not made to true mil-spec with regard to a proper mil-spec receiver extension. I'm not saying they don't work-they just aren't made to the same specs as a proper mil-spec tube. HTH.

I've had mine for about half a year now... I am not an active carbine course go-er, don't participate in 3-gun, nor am I a war fighter, I just go to the range and shoot holes in to pieces of paper for fun. So, for all my intents and purposes, I'm fine with living with a sub-par, not-so mil-spec receiver extension. And it hasn't broken on me and it fits my mil-spec Vltor Modstock just fine.

Your mileage may vary, but for my budget build it does the job.

They are milspec in size/diameter not in material/threading.  Its extremely rare for any tube to brake, but it is considered more likely for the commercial material tube to brake (at the threaded area) .

Thanks for your responses. I ended up finding a DD milspec tube for $34, so went that route.
