[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt SP1 Lower with Upper???

Gents,
have an obviously older SP1 and was looking to make up an M4 style carbine based on the lower. I picked up a CMMG flat top M4 upper however it doesnt fit on the Colt lower. Seems like the hole the front push pin goes through is too small. Make sense? Is there an upper other than COlt that will fit my SP1 or just leave it alone and forget my M4 build?

You need a small hole to large hole adaptor.

Daniel Defense makes a big hole flat top receiver.
