I am building a lower(still waiting on parts) for an sbr. I have an opportunity to get a pelican 1550 cheap and want to know if it'll fit.

15 1/4" with the mil-spec 0.30" butt-pad.

15 1/2" with the commercial 0.55" butt-pad.

It will very slightly from lower to lower, of course, but that should be accurate enough to determine measurements for a case.
