I need a trigger for my S$W MP-15 in 5.45 x 39.
I ordered the M1 sales 5.45 firing pin, so no fire potential problems should not be an issue. The stock trigger pulls at a smooth 8#.
Geissele is supposed to be the best. I was looking at the S3G vs the SD3G. What is the diff besides the straight vs curved trigger?
I want a single stage, approx 3#. The rifle is my coyote/ beater ar with a ta11 sitting on top.
Mainly will be picked up when I am headded to the woods to kill coyote, or just plinking or end of the world.
Any other suggestions? Is the Giesseile worth an extra 100 over most other aftermarket pieces?
Thanks
Steve

I guess my question is ... are they 100 bucks better?

In the safe right now, I have "mil-spec" LPK triggers, a Spike's Battle Trigger, and a Geissele SSA.

The SSA is worth every penny I paid for it.  It's that nice.  It's what a trigger should feel like.  I haven't used all of their models, but if their "cheap one" (the SSA) is that good, things can only get better.

The DMR trigger I run on my DM AR is smooth and fast. Worth every bit I paid for it.

Also other uses have reported no noticeable difference between their two stage and single stage triggers.

YMMV

Any tips on who to buy from? Seems like everyone sells the Geissele for list price??
Thanks
