| Whats the difference between button and cut rifling? And is it worth the extra cost on a non-match rifle? I am looking at 6.5 Grendel barrels if it makes any difference. |
| A quality button rifled tube has the potential to be as good as cut rifled. I would be more concerned about the material used, and that it came from a manufacturer with a good rep. Chances are that after that, you or I wouldn't know the difference. Ammo selection will have way more to do with accuracy than rifling. |
