I am looking to get a handgaurd but I am unsure of which to get. I would really like to get a set of drop in ones. Is there a drop in that is level with the receiver rail? If so does it have a gap between receiver rail and handgaurd rail? Thanks for the help

Most every rail will be level with the top of the receiver. However, as mentioned the DD Omega bridges the gap between the rail and the receiver and can be user installed. It is an excellent choice, but don't try to mount an optic across the two. No railed forearms are ment to be used like that. It wouldn't be stable or repeatable if removed at best, at worst you could damage your scope. |
