Does anyone make a match grade M4 barrel replacement that accepts all of my existing parts on my Del Ton upper? My barrel is a 5.56 chamber CL 1/7 twist and it's accuracy is perfectly within specs. I am looking for better without losing the looks of the M4 profile.
Any information appreciated. Thanks Macgre3 |

The dimensions of an M4 barrel are not the most conducive for accuracy.
"fat-skinny-thick-skinny-thick" just doesn't make a particularly good "match" barrel. There are tons of accurate carbine barrels out there; look at Noveske. If you're going for accuracy, I don't see why the M4 "look" is an important part of your goal. |

I don't agree with silly. I also like the look of an M4 profile as opposed to a straight barrel.
I would just look for a good manufacturer of M4 barrels and get the best one they had. Check BCM, Daniel Defense. If I'm following you, you want an M4 type carbine that will shoot like a match barrel. I can relate. Dave |

Daniel Defense makes a nice barrel. Brownell's have them.
Daniel Defense Are you just looking for the M4 look in front of the FSB? If so a SOCOM barrel from BCM may be your ticket. Thick under the handguards with the M4 contour in front of the FSB. BCM has a nice SOCOM barrel but I see from their web page they are out of stock: I have this 16" SOCOM barrel on a BCM upper. BCM SOCOM Barrel |

match grade? I guess you want a SS barrel then dont you?
Oberland Arms here in EU use Lothar Walter SS barrel with M4 profile...I dont know if these are available in the US ETA: just found out with google that Remsport Mfg. makes SS M4 barrels...but I dont know anything about quality accuracy etc |
