[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR Upper

Guys,
The only AR I currently own is an M4 configuration. I've decided I ned a standard 20" A2. As I'd like this one to be a completely stock rifle, which upper would you recommend for this build?

A used 20" Colt M16A2 upper or a used 20" FN M16A2 upper. I really like mine.

Aside from that, Stag 4H, Bushmaster Match Target, DPMS Panther Classic, Rock River Arms Standard A2, Delton post-ban A2.

Just to name a few.

I recently picked up a early 70's Colt 20" M16A1 upper.

I have 2 that I built - one with Bushmaster 1/7 Govm't profile barrel and one with Sabre 1/7 Govm't profile. I cannot tell a significant difference between the two in terms of accuracy, but both wear only irons. I would recommend either barrel highly.
