Please help me ID my new to me upper . 20" postban A2- Dark grey/black (almost too grey to be parked). ABSOLUTELY no stamps, markings on the barrel or upper (even under handguard). It's a heavy barrel, but not completely smooth- there are rings (machining marks?) that go around the barrel it's entire length. Thats all I know except that it shoots .223 just fine .

I have the same front sight on a mystery carbine upper I've been trying to identify. Did Olympic make any .223 uppers or are they all 5.56?

+1....at least for the barrel.

I believe that Olympic is the only vendor that uses these cast FSB's.  However, they usually mark their barrels on top in front of the FSB with the caliber it's chambered for.

The upper receiver is anyones guess.
